IRS Online Phishing Scam

The latest scam to hit internet users email inbox is a message tricking them to believe it is from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and that they are eligible for a tax refund.
The email directs you to click on a link and fill out a form with personal information, the site is identical to that of the official IRS website.
What you can do:
(1) Legitimate agencies or businesses will not ask you for personal financial information in return for a Tax Refund.
(2) To be on the safe side never click on links purporting to be from official websites, enter the website address manually in browser e.g. www.irs.gov
