Monster Website Attacked!

The US version of the Monster website was hit by an online attack with hundreds of thousands of user’s personal information stolen.
Monster.com is a major player in the online recruitment market.
The theft is likely to result in criminals maybe using the information to carry out identity fraud on a mass scale.
"This remote server held over 1.6 million entries with personal information belonging to several hundred thousands candidates, mainly based in the US, who had posted their resumes to the Monster.com website," security firm Symantec reported.
