Lawyers Seek Damages from blogger

Lawyers Burt Odelson and Mark Sterk have filed a libel suit against Provision Insider blog John Doe.
The issue stems back to a July posting on provisoinsider.blogspot.com that said Odelson and Sterk "will be indicted," that Sterk advised elected officials "how to lie to a grand jury" and that the firm was losing contracts because of their "imminent" indictment, according to Sun-Times website.
The law suit was filed in Cook County Circuit Court and seeks damages from the Blog and its creator.
"You can say I'm an idiot, but you can't say I'm a crook," Sterk said. "Just because it's a blog, people think they can hide behind a veil of secrecy. They can't. And that's going to be an expensive lesson for someone”, Reports Sun-Times website.
Odelson and Sterk represent multiple suburban government bodies.
