A website which captures scenes of men chasing one another, and men fighting at weddings attracts around 200,000 people daily with the majority of site visitors coming from the US.
The website EnglishRussia.com is the brainchild of a young Web designer called Tim (as he wants to be known by) has become one of the most popular blogs on the Internet in less than a year.
A recent hit is a video of a woman who lives with 130 cats in what appears to be a surprisingly clean Moscow apartment.
English Russia was recently rated the 155th most popular blog in the world by Technorati, a search engine that indexes more than 94 million blogs. Tim said he had turned down one offer to buy the site. He said he wanted to see the blog break into the top 100 on Technorati, an outcome he thinks is likely, Reports International Herald Tribune.
Tim, who lives in Russia and Israel, refuses to say how profitable the site is a year after its creation.
