TorrentSpy Blocks U.S from Searching on its Website

If you are in the US you are not welcome to search Torrentspy.
The Torrentspy indexing site has been disabled for searches that originate from U.S based IP addresses.
Users located in the U.S and searching on the TorrentSpy.com website (Note: some parts of the TorrentSpy homepage may carry adverts which contain scenes of nudity) are directed to the following page, which says:
Torrentspy Acts to Protect Privacy
Sorry, but because you are located in the USA you cannot use the search features of the Torrentspy.com website. Torrentspy's decision to stop accepting US visitors was NOT compelled by any Court but rather an uncertain legal climate in the US regarding user privacy and an apparent tension between US and European Union privacy laws.

The action taken by Torrent spy seems to be because of the uncertain legal climate in the US regarding user privacy.
