Google Acquires Jaiku.com
11th Oct 2007
Google announced today that it has acquired Finnish website Jaiku.com for an undisclosed amount.
Along with industry leader Twitter, Jaiku has emerged at the top of the pile of micro-blogging websites that have been a big part of the recent Web 2.0 revolution. Jaiku’s site is an activity stream and presence sharing service that works from the Web and mobile phones.
Current users of Jaiku will still be able to use the website’s service, but like all of Google’s acquisitions, you’ll have to wait to see for yourself what makes Jaiku so good.
