Majan.net - Website Owner Released on Bail

Mohammed Rashed Shehhi, the owner of the Majan.net website, was released on bail on 30 September by a court in Ras al-Khaimah (UAE).
Shehhi had been held since 19 August after being sentenced to a year in prison and a fine of 19,000 USD over an allegedly libellous comment posted anonymously by a visitor to his site.
A total of four lawsuits have been brought against Shehhi in connection with his website.
