Youlicit.com - Have you ever come across a site and wished you could find similar sites or blogs? By analyzing the web for user generated tags, votes, comments & behaviors it returns recommendations on what you are looking for.
In the real world, you usually find information through two ways, by searching for it or by “word of mouth”. An example is searching for an item at your local grocery store – if you know exactly what you need you can search for it (e.g. “I am looking for Kellogg’s Raisin Bran cereal”). If however, you are unsure about exactly what you want and need some guidance, you would ask someone (e.g. “I am looking for a healthy cereal. Do you have any recommendations?”). Youlicit gives users instant access to online “word of mouth.” The Youlicit website recommendation engine provides you with one-click access to the most recommended sites related to a website or topic.
To use Youlicit, simply install a plug-in with the Youlicit buttons on your Firefox browser. These buttons light up while you surf, and by clicking on them, you get highly relevant recommendations delivered right to you without searching! It also allows you to discover the web via personalized recommendations based on your interests and find other users interested in the same topics as you.
