Movie Mogul Fund is a community-generated film fund, which invites its film loving members to select and back new movies that they would like to see get made.
MovieMogulFund.com is a virtual film studio, where real-life filmmakers battle it out in a competition to get their work into production. Eight short and eight feature film proposals are head-to-head - competing to win cash budgets and industry support to help get their films on to the big screen.
Here, you are the production executives, film lovers who care enough about the future of the UK film industry to cough-up hard cash in return for the opportunity to influence and participate.
The idea for ‘movie players’ (people at home), is to sniff out and back the big writers, directors and producers of tomorrow. Successful players (those who back the winner), will gain status, credibility, film credits and virtual wealth within the studio, and opportunities to become involved in the films production, should they want it.
The bigger picture of course is that exciting new films are being made (at your discretion), and that fresh talent is rising to the top - based on merit!
