Google Covers Australian 2007 Federal Election

Google is getting Political with a new website covering the 2007 federal elections in Australia, and all six parties represented in Australia's parliament are covered on the site.
The site Google.com.au/election2007 provides each party their own channel on YouTube.com, where candidates can attack their opposition, post election broadcasts and comments.
"At Google, we believe that democracy on the web works, and also that the web can work for democracy," says the company on its Australian blog.
