MessageFromMe (MFM) is way beyond conventional social networking websites - it takes media sharing to the next level. MFM permits users to send private as well as public media messages in all formats (video, audio, text and pictures) and uses completely unique, high quality streaming player.
A very small package (less than 1Mb), very quick to install (less than 30 secs), this streaming player is compatible with H264 for video and OGG Vorbis for the sound, allowing for optimized compression and an enhanced playback experience. It's also free of any malware.
Once plugin is installed, MFM allows its users to upload, without any limitation in size or extension, any type of video, audio files and even pictures: share them with your friends by simply adding their email addresses, create groups to save your lists, publish your media in private or in public, and enjoy!
Want to be sure not to miss a birthday again? Shoot your video of greetings in advance and choose the day it will be delivered to the recipient; you can even elect to have a present delivered at their home too.
The site also provides all the features to build large and interesting communities. Find members with the same interests as you, create groups together and share your finds or your creations with people that care.
While still in its beta version, MFM is largely operable as it is. Only compatible at the moment with Windows operating systems, a mac version of the player is however on its way. Unique, exciting features are also coming up and one can expect improvements and new toys to be regularly added on the site.
