Own Stake in a Football Club

Former football journalist Will Brooks has setup a website which promises to pass control of a Professional Football Club to its stake holder fans.

The aim of is to buy a Professional Football Club and give fans a big say in the running and management in return for a £35 (Approximately $70 USD) annual contribution fee. Of that, £27.50 goes into the takeover fund, and £7.50 to cover administrative costs.

The MyFootballClub.co.uk website will be used for fans to interact and vote on all decisions affecting the club. Its support, entrepreneurship, and people power all rolled in one.

More than 53,000 people declared an interest in MyFootballClub when the website went live on 26 April and in the first 24 hours, £250,000 was raised.

The MyFootballClub website allows members to vote on which club they'd most like to buy.

The aim is to raise just over a £1,000,000 (Approximately $2,000,000) in which to buy a professional football club.

The MyFootballClub website states they are in talks with four football clubs.
