Traffic Soars at Price Comparison Website Due to Bank Crisis

A price comparison website has experienced an increase in traffic to its website in wake of the problems at the Northern Rock bank.
The number of users searching on MoneySupermarket.com for the best savings accounts had more than doubled in the past three to four days.
“We have seen a huge impact from Northern Rock,” said chief executive Simon Nixon. “There is a lot of confusion in the marketplace and we have seen a big increase in people doing research and making transactions.”
