Blogcatalog.com - Blog Catalog Swallows up HalfHourMeals.com

BlogCatalog.com, the social network for bloggers, has just swallowed up acquired HalfHourMeals.com a social network that allows members to submit recipes, rate recipes, etc...
HalfHourMeals.com was originally launched in August 2008 as a social network for those who wanted to share recipes. BlogCatalog.com already lists more than 3,500 blogs dedicated to food so this will no doubt help bloggers gain even more exposure.
Antony Berkman is the president of BlogCatalog.com he had acquired BlogCatalog which was originally a directory listing with 50,000 members and relatively low visitor volume and with the help of his team turned it into a social network with 170,000 active members and higher traffic than any other network in its class.
