Gmail.com – Back Up After This Mornings Website Crash

Googles email service Gmail is back up after this mornings website crash which happened at around 9.30am GMT left millions unable to log in, send, and receive email.
More than 100 million users every month use the Gmail.com email service and affected people worldwide.
"We know that for many of you, this disrupted your working day," wrote Acacio Cruz, reliability manager for Gmail on the official Google blog. "We're really sorry about this, and we did do everything to restore access as soon as we could.
"Our priority was to get you back up and running. Our engineers are still investigating the root cause of the problem."
Mr Cruz thanked Gmail users for bearing with the company as they sought to resolve the problems.
